Again and again we go through incredible times of seeing the actors/actresses do their thing! This past weekend of filming was another one of those times!
Dearin - you were “off the chain” – you even had us scared for a minute there! It’s amazing how you were able to bring out the “jerk” so much shown in your character, James. It was great “hating” you for those moments! The blow-up between you and Rjay – yes!!! It all looked sooooo awesome!
And to actress Monica Rojas . . . WHAT AN INCREDIBLE JOB! It’s one thing to act with another individual but when that individual has BECOME the character, you, in turn, have no choice but become your character (or look really bad on screen!) – and WOW! That makes for a great scene! It even took us a while in between takes because of the build up of emotion needed for Monica’s character, Tracy.
To the kids, LaTajanae, Benjamin, and Tatyana – you all amaze me with your skills for being so young!
Rjay – jumping between acting and directing – it’s a tough job to switch hats and get into character at the drop of a dime – and you are definitely pulling it off! The meat of this whole project is showing through and I am so excited about seeing the results!
Wordical Productions, Inc. has just “inked” a deal with performing artist, “Siah S” for musical production in “Try’na Make A Change”! Siah S will be handling some of the music production and song writing for Season One. Being known for his new “rock n soul” sound originating out of Texas, he is currently working with Mike Eddie out of Los Angeles and Trabeats out of Atlanta, and gaining recognition from both independent and major record labels. We are excited to have him on board and to see his talent at work.” Try’na Make A Change” production crew is taking major steps as we move forward with the incredible sounds of “Fusse” and the genius of “Siah S”. Congratulations Siah! We’re proud to have you on board!
OK – Let me start with OOHHHHHH MYYYY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last night’s shoot was, by far, the most incredible acting we have seen thus far! From a playful romantic stroll to an intense dramatic emotional performance! All I have to say is WOW!
R-jay and Brandon, your direction and teamwork are awesome! Ann – you brought everything to life . . . . from the kiss to the screams! If anyone had been walking past that underground garage, they would’ve called 911! Chauncy and Joshua! Your fight! Your struggle! The shear speed in which it all took place combined with the force and shock of the event was amazing! . . . . . and the camera picked up every bit of the intense emotion!
That’s why we love working with people who have a passion to act! What we witnessed last night seemed so real and that’s what it’s all about! You guys did an awesome job and I applaud your performance!
Thank you for your talent!
Thanks to Director, R-Jay, the camera crew (Brandon and Roderick), and an awesome group of actors/actresses, musical artists (Fusse, Siah, and Mike Eddie) - we are finally nearing the end of our 1st season of filming the You Tube Comedy/Drama series, “Try’na Make a Change”. There’s still much work to be done in the editing and music department! SOON we will be posting cuts here and there for all to see. The clips are turning out really good, the comedy is off the chain, and the drama is intense! We can’t wait to be able to publish it all on-line!
Filmographer, Brandon May, with all his creative photography, has now become part of the film crew for the production of the You Tube Series, “Try’na Make a Change”. Brandon’s unique and creative film techniques will definitely enhance and add flavor to the story line! We are glad to have you on board Brandon!
Please keep your eyes open and check back with us toward the end of summer for auditions. We will definitely be looking for teens ages 14 thru 17 who have a passion to act. We will also be auditioning singers and dancers (urban style – hip hop, step, etc.)! CHECK BACK!!!!
Wordical Productions Filming Department now adding short film, “Selfish Sacrifice” to their repertoire! While still working on the comedy series, “Try’na Make A Change”, the same producers have begun a short 5-minute film project which will be submitted into festivals. Filming will take place in a week and will only last one day. We should be seeing this incredible short film up on You Tube within about a month! With R-jay at the head of film operations, Wordical is moving forward with fire!
The 3-voice all male vocal R&B group, “All or Nothing” – or otherwise known as “A-O-N” just had an incredible performance to an audience of over 600 screaming fans at the San Ysidro Performing Arts Center! WHY ARE WE SO PROUD????? All 3 of the “AON” members are former Wordical actors/singers/songwriters! We are very proud to announce their success in moving forward in their careers! They’ve been picked up by Keith Reed, owner and founder of “Connect the Dots” who is currently seeking sponsors for their incredible talent as they gain exposure in the San Diego and Los Angeles counties. Wordical Productions will be showing off their incredible vocal ability in their upcoming series, “Try’na Make a Change” so watch for them not only in our upcoming series but also WATCH FOR THEM as one of the hottest R&B upcoming groups to hit the entertainment world! Congratulations to Chauncy Robinson, Andrew LaFear, and Joshua Sharpe!!!
Again, with no sleep, much rehearsal, and countless hours of hard work, filming is almost complete for Episode Two of “Try’na Make a Change”! A very special THANK YOU to all the extras who worked with us on the BBQ scene! You all were sooooo incredible! Since midnight Friday night and working through eggs, bacon, donuts, and BBQ ribs and potato salad – with plenty of coffee and sugar – we watched the sun rise as lighting was set and cameras were rolling! As the sun pierced through the windows – we placed up sheets and blankets to compensate for the lighting needed or not needed for our very professional film crew! The scene became humid and very trying with bloopers and a very tired crowd of people – BUT – WE DID IT! At the “WRAP” we pigged out on BBQ ribs, potato salad, cakes and pies - and as the cool of the evening creeped in, fried chicken was added to the large trays of food available for the actors and crew. WHAT A DAY IT WAS! At the end of the day, I saw many passed out with full bellies and smiles of satisfaction knowing we completed the shot we needed to! Beautiful work guys! BEAUTIFUL!
